Got a call from someone saying they were with BT, telling me hackers were trying to get into my phone line. Thing is, I don't even have BT broadband, so it felt dodgy right away. The voice was obviously a recording. They said they’d put me through to a tech, but when I got connected, the guy just stayed silent and said he couldn't hear me. I looked up the number afterwards and it definitely wasn’t BT.
