Got a phone call from this number a couple of times, asking about issues with Microsoft. When I asked for more details, the person just hung up on me. I had a similar scam attempt a few years back where I lost £99, but luckily Barclaycard refunded me in the end.

This number just keeps ringing my mum over and over. They nearly tricked her into sending cash for some online computer help, even got access to her laptop remotely and somehow tied it to Western Union. They’re always calling at all sorts of times now, asking for her. Someone should get the police involved cause they really need to catch these lot.

Lately, I've been getting these calls about once every month. There was a period when they used to ring me up twice daily. Now, I just hang up straight away.

Got a call from a guy claiming to be from India, talking about issues with my computer's security. I told him we’re registered with the TPS, so he really shouldn’t be ringing.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming his name was Alan and saying he was calling for Microsoft. I told him straight away I didn’t buy it and that Microsoft wouldn’t do business like that. He got a bit annoyed and then I just hung up. What shocked me was that his number actually came up when I checked with 1471. Fingers crossed you lot can put an end to this.
