Bumped into this chap who was soliciting cash for a trip to Manchester, what a laugh!

I encountered the same chap soliciting some cash near Strand, insisting that he was a newcomer to the UK. He seemed a bit dodgy, but I decided to lend a hand and handed over £20 for him to catch a Megabus back to Manchester. He mentioned he was on foot towards Victoria. Fingers crossed he was being honest with me; I like to think I’m a decent person at heart.

I encountered a chap who was in a bit of a pickle, claiming he was lost and in need of some funds for travel. He instructed me to ring a number that ended in 7770, but alas, no one answered. This bloke insisted he was a newcomer and was just biding his time for his sister, Ayesha. Honestly, it’s got scam written all over it, if you ask me! Ridiculous, isn’t it?
