This number keeps ringing me, but I just ignore it every time. They don’t bother leaving any voicemail, which makes me think it’s definitely some kind of scam. If it was something important, surely they’d leave a message, right? So annoying!

They didn’t leave a voicemail or anything. I don’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t know, so they’re free to ring as much as they want - it’s their problem if it costs them!

Got a couple of calls this week from someone saying they were with Telecom, telling me I had loads of unwanted calls and they could fix it. I just told them they were the actual nuisance and hung up. A mate of mine fell for it, did what they said, ended up with all her contacts wiped and some dosh nicked from her bank. Wouldn't trust them for a minute!

She claimed I'd paid my phone bill via direct debit and wanted me to confirm my debit card’s expiry date. I didn’t give her any info and ended the call. Then she phoned again straight away, telling me off for hanging up! I still didn’t share anything. About 30 mins later, a different woman called from the same number asking the exact same thing.
