I've been getting calls from 0207 241 4698, 415699, and 414699 lately. Whenever I pick up, there's nothing but silence on the other end. Won't be picking up if they ring again.

On the 23rd of November 2016, around 10:21am, I got a call from a bloke who sounded pretty young and had an Asian accent. He claimed he was ringing from TalkTalk and said my internet connection had been hacked. I told him straight up, "I know you're not from TalkTalk and this is a scam. What you're doing isn’t legal, so hang up and don’t ever call me again." As soon as I said that, he ended the call right away. But instead of the usual dial tone, I got a 'Number Unobtainable' signal. I then dialled 1471 to see the number that called me. Seriously, why can’t these fake callers be blocked or stopped straight away? It’s so annoying.

Somebody rang me saying they were from TalkTalk. I told them I didn’t believe it. Then the caller claimed they could verify it by giving me my postcode, which they did. I wasn’t convinced and said it didn’t mean anything, and accused them of being a scammer. They denied it before going on about some security issue with my internet. I told them I’d be reporting the call as a scam.
