My mum, who is quite old, got a call and rang back. The person on the other end said that £600 was taken from her bank and sent overseas. Then she just hung up on her! Obviously, this really worried my mum and made her quite distressed. She’s just gotten over a stroke not long ago. These annoying calls like this really should be banned. Luckily I wasn’t far and was able to visit her, calm her down, and phone her bank to make sure everything was alright!
