7 yearsI can't believe what just happened! My poor mum, who's quite elderly and still getting back on her feet after a stroke, received a call that left her frazzled. Apparently, someone told her that £600 had been whisked away from her account and sent overseas - and just like that, the caller hung up on her! It utterly shook her up, and it’s just infuriating. These types of pesky calls need to be put to an end! Thankfully, I’m close by and was able to rush over to comfort her and ring up her bank to clarify everything.
