Got a call from some robot saying they were from my bank's security team about dodgy activity on my card. They mentioned a £300 transaction, but I just ended the call. The phone they rung was my landline which I hardly ever use, so looks like they’re going through some ancient list to scam people.

Received a rather suspicious call, purportedly from my bank’s security team, on 19th April 2022. The voice sounded automated, and they spoke about some fraudulent activity linked to my account. Initially mentioned some dodgy charges totalling £300, then abruptly disconnected without revealing which bank they were supposedly representing. Quite unsettling, to say the least!
