I got a call from a number that showed up as Sofra Restaurant on Oxford Street, London, but the person on the other end claimed to be from some kind of tech support team. When I questioned them about it, they just ended the call straight away.

This number has rung me a few times, and I finally answered today. The bloke on the line claimed he was getting in touch about my life insurance, saying it hadn’t been looked at recently. He then asked me why I got the policy to begin with. When I gave vague replies, he didn’t really press but kept going. Weirdly, he already knew my birthday. Once I told him I wasn’t comfortable with the call, he just cut me off straight away.
