Just got a missed call from some unknown number about half an hour back - no voicemail or anything left. This is the second time today I’ve seen a phony call, probably linked to some Amazon Prime trick. The earlier call came from a Budleigh Salterton area code, which was totally different. After a quiet spell of a few months without these scams, the easing of some covid-19 rules seems to have revived the nuisance calls. Looks like it’s back to the usual hassle, and I doubt they’re practising any ‘distancing’ themselves!

Got a robo call supposedly from Amazon, saying my Prime would auto-renew unless I hit '1'. I pressed it but the call just cut out immediately. Pretty sure if I’d stayed on the line, they’d have tried to scam my card details. Classic phishing attempt if you ask me.
