We happened to overlook a call from this number.

Got a random call earlier, so I let my answerphone pick it up since I didn’t know the number. I've got quite a bit of family in London and a couple of godsons, so I figured it might be the bank or something to do with the godmother! Tried calling back but got a message saying "the number you’re trying to call can’t be found," which I thought was against the rules nowadays. Probably was an overseas number. Anyway, I’ve blocked it now.

These days, I never pick up straight away. Instead, I let the answerphone take the call and then I use 1471 to check who rang me.

It’s usually those scammers claiming to be from Microsoft, trying to trick you into downloading TeamViewer so they can get into your PC. They kept blowing up my old number non-stop. Had to switch numbers because I got fed up with the constant nonsense.
Really wish there was some kind of law to put a stop to these con artists. It’s clear they’re just after scamming folks.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent about some computer or laptop supposedly at my place. I decided to humour him for a bit, which was quite amusing honestly. He kept insisting there was a computer here, but when I kept saying nope, no laptop around, he just ended the call. Definitely felt like a dodgy scam, totally far-fetched. Kinda made me think of those funny bits from the show Phonejacker.

Got a call from this number just a bit ago. I usually don't pick up calls now - instead I hang up, do a 1471 to find out who it was, then type the number into my browser. Turned out it led me to this very site, so well chuffed I looked it up first. No way am I dealing with them!

Same here. I ended up listening to the bloke for a bit. Honestly, it was just ridiculous.

I've had a couple of calls from this number recently. Every time I pick up, it's dead silent on the other end. Then when I try ringing them back, still nothing but silence. Honestly, it seems like a total waste of time!

Just got a dodgy call from some company, they were on about getting me to download stuff onto my PC. The person on the line was Indian and their accent was super hard to catch, sounded like they said PC Wizard or whatever.

I got a call from someone saying my computer had issues. But as soon as I questioned them, they just dropped the call.

Got a call earlier from a guy with a rough English accent, asking for a person I didn't recognise. He said it was about my computer or something. Just ended up hanging up straight away.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be with PC Wiz or something. He tried to get me to mess with my PC so no viruses could get onto it. Sounds dodgy to me!

I've had three calls now, all saying there's an issue with my computer. Quite annoying!
