Got a call from some robot voice claiming HMRC is after me for tax dodging and fraud, saying there’s an arrest warrant out. I didn’t bother listening further, but I’m guessing it was a threat to pay up straight away to dodge trouble. Since I’m retired and haven’t got any issues with taxes, I know this is bogus. Plus, HMRC would definitely send a letter, they don’t just ring you out of the blue. Total scam.
