Got a dodgy call about updating my CSCS card, but the person couldn’t even say if I had one, what the status was or what colour it even is! They just kept pushing me to book a renewal, all sounded very fishy to me.

I didn’t pick up, felt like it was one of those scam calls.

This building services line just keeps ringing me non stop. I’ve blocked the number but they still get through with voicemails even tho my phone never actually rings. It’s proper annoying.

Had a run in with a CSCS card scammer bout 4 years back and now theyre at it again. A legit CSCS card aint worth over £25 in my opinion.

Just scammers trying to trick you.

The service they offer seems legit and the person i spoke to was really polite and helpful.

Really useful, they helped me sort out my card issues, big thanks to CHL.

1. He asks if he’s speaking to - MY CLOSED BUSINESS NAME. Nope, that’s not right. 2. Then he tries asking for MY NAME AND SURNAME - but spelled completely wrong (like the way GENOCIDE was put together back in 1992) - totally wrong, so no, you’re not. Bit odd someone makes such a slip on UK numbers. Then he just hangs up. Meanwhile, I get an email and a text about a hospital appointment. RIP Elizabeth.

Got a call from Construction Helpline. They grabbed my info from some unfinished form I left months back. Now they’re trying to get me to buy something. Doesn’t seem dodgy but it’s really irritating. Blocked them.

I didn’t answer the call but the number belongs to Construction Helpline. They must’ve grabbed my details from an online form I never finished filling in. They also had my email through the same method. They sent me a pretty sloppy email about the service I was supposedly looking into - not rude but really unprofessional. Not sure if they’re shady, just really irritating.

They’ve been calling me non stop for a couple months, didnt even bother to fill the form right. Always the same bloke pushing some course, got kinda rude after a while.

This CSCS card scam is honestly worrying, it really should be looked into and shut down asap.

Got called by a company claiming to sort CSCS cards but their prices were way too high, felt dodgy to me. Watch out, might be a rip off!

I've come across a dodgy operation claiming to provide CSCS cards, but they're asking for an outrageous fee of £210 just to issue a replacement. Quite suspicious if you ask me!

0207 199 9800 called me out of the blue. I was in the middle of applying for my CSCS Card but hadn’t completed it yet. I went back to double check my info and noticed I’d missed a test result so figured I’d apply later. Then, like 5 minutes after I left the site, this number rings me. Didn’t pick up. Honestly, no clue how they got my number when I hadn’t even finished the application. They’ve now phoned me twice.

This so called CSCS construction helpline is a total con. The people on the line, all Asian accents, keep pushing you to pay £76 for a CSCS card and some course. It's a total rip off. I warned them I reported the number to trading standards and the coppers for tracking, and they started swearing and told me to "get cancer and suffer". Obviously a scam, be warned and just ignore these calls.

Based on what I’ve gathered, I’m not gonna pick up those calls. They must’ve got my info from that CSCS form I completed yesterday evening. It looked proper at first, but now I’m a bit iffy and plan to do more digging.

The bloke told me his name was Sam smith. Unfortunately, we went ahead and sent the payment before noticing it was dodgy. It's definitely a scam! Please, don’t make the same error and avoid sending any money!

I've been inundated with calls from a foreign call centre purporting to be the CSCS card helpline. They keep pestering me for my personal information, and it feels very much like a scam to me. Best to be cautious!

This number belongs to a so-called "Construction Helpline" - it's a third party that charges way too much for health & safety tests, courses, qualifications, and various CSCS/Construction cards. If you want to book the CITB HSE test, ring up Pearsonvue on 03449944488. They handle the tests and charge the proper fee of £21. For CSCS cards, check out [#][#]cscs[###][###]/about/partnercard-schemes/ to find the right contact depending on your trade or job role. For other courses or qualifications, it's best to get in touch with your local college first. Don't fall for their rip offs!

this site looks a bit sketchy, it’s meant to be a construction helpline for cscs cards but then charges you £75.14 for materials and the test. you can just book your own test and get the cscs card for £40 directly at the test centres. i paid them but got nothing in return, no paperwork or anything. honestly, watch out and just book your test yourself. grab the citb book from whsmiths for about a tenner and you’re all set.
