Received a call earlier, and it was an automated recording purporting to be from BT. The message alarmingly stated that my broadband was supposedly involved in some dodgy activities and was at risk of being cut off soon. They insisted that if I pressed 1 right away, I could avert the disconnection. I decided not to engage and hung up instead. Now I'm obsessively watching the light on my router, but deep down, I reckon it’s just another scam.
