Then he told me he was putting me through to a mate of his, so I just hung up to dodge any dodgy 0906 charges. Next thing, he calls back saying sorry for the cutoff. I told him I was tied up and straight up called him a scammer before hanging up again. He phoned back one last time admitting he was a con artist and said there was nothing I could do to mark the number as risky. He couldn’t give any details, which makes sense since I’ve never been in any accident! The weird bit was he knew my full name and where I live, but honestly, that info’s easy to find in the phone directory.
