A while back, I got a call from some supposed tech support team calling themselves "SMART SUPPORT GUYS." They used the number 02071939836 and said my PC was seriously infected and would stop working if they didn’t fix it. That was over nine months ago, and funny enough, my computer is still running perfectly fine! Since then, they've called me multiple times repeating the same story. I’d say don’t give them any access to your device - just hang up straight away no matter how often they ring. Turns out, this company is a total scam.

This number called me, someone saying they were Steve from Life tech support saying they worked for Windows. They told me my PC was sending loads of error reports and might be seriously damaged unless I followed some steps they’d explain on the phone. It sounded dodgy to me, so I looked up the number and found out it’s been linked to different scams before. Definitely not trusting that one.

Got a call from this number earlier today around 11:20am. The bloke claimed he was part of some tech support team and told me my laptop had a virus. He tried to convince me he could prove it, but I said there's no way to show that over the phone. I told him straight up it sounded like a scam and decided to hang up. Hopefully, this warning helps others avoid these dodgy calls.
