I got a call from someone saying I might have a payout from the insurance linked to my mortgage. They told me to send a cheque for legal fees first. Before I did anything, I asked for their bank account info to pay by bank transfer instead. They gave me the details, but I never actually sent any money. Not 100% sure if it was a scam or something legit.
