Dodgy call. Got an automated message saying I'd done something dodgy with my taxes. It told me to press 1 to chat with HMRC. Then I ended up talking to some bloke who was really rude and shouting, saying I’d purposely messed up my PAYE tax and now owed them thousands. Said the cops would be at my place in half an hour. Sounds like the same guy from earlier comments, an Asian fella who phoned me just after 9.55am on the 8th of June 2020. He mentioned something about updating info concerning shares in Croda. I only verified information he must have already had, like my name and address, likely from a public shareholders directory. Got a call from this number by a bloke who said his name was Jeremy, sounded like he had an Asian-American accent. He claimed to be from some market work trading company and was trying to get my permission to talk about selling my shares. When I asked him where he was located, suddenly he said he couldn’t hear me and kept going “hello, hello” before hanging up on me. Watch out, it’s a scam.

I received a call earlier today, 21st July 2016, from someone who addressed me by my full name. They were attempting to schedule an appointment regarding Lloyds shares. The person on the line was a woman with a noticeable foreign accent. I informed her that I wasn't interested, and the conversation came to a swift end.

I received an unsolicited phone call today from someone who knew my name and was trying to set up a time for an adviser to discuss alterations concerning my shares in a specific firm.
