Absolutely shameless bunch of crooks! Whatever you do, steer clear of sharing any personal details with them. They're just fishing for bits of info that are likely already out there on the web. Don't fall for their tricks; they're just trailing behind for any gaps they can exploit.

I received a call earlier today from someone claiming to be from the National Grid. They informed me that my meter was malfunctioning and that my energy supplier had a financial obligation to me. The chap said they needed to come over and replace my meter. He asked for my name and date of birth, explaining that it was necessary for the documentation they were meant to send me. He introduced himself as Ibrahim and gave me a number, 145, saying I could contact them back on that. It all seemed a bit fishy to me!

I had a rather similar experience just a couple of days back. I was looking to replace our energy meter with a smart one, but goodness, I couldn't shake the bloke off the line! Every time I thought I'd hung up, he rang back incessantly. It was quite confrontational, to say the least. He insisted on 'confirming' personal details, like my date of birth, which was the moment I decided enough was enough and cut the conversation. Since then, he's been relentless with his calls every single day! I've even checked with my utility provider, and they assured me this is not their doing. To top it off, we already have a functioning smart meter!

A right odd situation, I must say! Had a so-called representative from the national grid ring me up, requesting my banking info. Found it amusing, actually. I ended up on the phone with them for a full hour before they resorted to foul language! It's quite worrying, though, as older folks can be more susceptible. They even had my name and the details of my energy provider! It’s crucial to remember-never share your banking details over the phone!

Earlier today, I received a visit from someone who asserted they were representing the National Grid, insisting they needed to swap out my meter. Their approach was surprisingly hostile and rather intimidating.

Hello, I’d appreciate some clarification on which company is behind these incessant calls I've been receiving-approximately 50 in total. One of your representatives even had the audacity to issue threats to my partner, which is utterly unacceptable. I intend to pursue this matter further. Kindly refrain from bombarding individuals with calls repeatedly. Thank you.
