Someone rang me saying they were with 02 and told me my SIM would be switched off in a few days. Then they tried to pitch me a new SIM and deal at a cheaper rate. They kept talking over me and wanted my security info from the contract. If you're unsure, just tell them to call back later, but they usually won’t stop pushing their nonsense. Don’t hand over any details. Ask for the name on the account - they won’t be able to confirm it. Best just to end the call, block the number, and mark it as spam.

Definitely a scam, trying to phish info. They rang me pretending to be from O2 with an offer of 40% off. I told them to ring back later before I shared anything but they seemed quite pushy and didn’t want to hang up. I rang O2 myself and they had no clue about it. They did call again from 02037809700, so don’t pick up if you see that number.
