Got a call from this number today but they didn't leave any voicemail or text. I've never been to St Thomas and I don’t live anywhere near London. Looks like a total scam to me.

Some folks say its definitely Guys, others say it aint, but keep in mind scammers can fake numbers so you think they’re calling from somewhere else. Only trust the call if it actually sounds legit to you. Yes, the number is from Guys, but the person on the other end might be someone else.

This number, plus another one that rang me yesterday (0207 188 3385, no voicemail though) were from Guy's & Thomas' Hospital in London. They told me my appointment got cancelled and that they'd send a text soon with a new date and link - which they actually did right after. Guess it’s just another month added on top of another at this point.

Received a call from this number claiming I’d been offered an upgrade by my ‘provider,’ but they never said which one. When I asked for the network name, they guessed completely wrong. Pretty clear it was a scam trying to con me. What’s even dodgier is that they seem to be using a phone number linked to a hospital (if this site’s info is accurate).

The NHS has been struggling for years because it’s been ignored for too long. There are loads of issues from rubbish admin teams that don’t really know their stuff, to brilliant but underpaid nurses, doctors and paramedics who are worn out and often leave to work overseas. This number seems legit, but it’s possible the hospital admin messed things up completely.

I work at Guys and St Thomas Hospital, so this is definitely their number. It usually shows up if they call you from one of the hospital's internal extensions. The easiest way to check is just to ring back through the main switchboard at 02071887188 and ask the operator to connect you with the department you were dealing with, so you can find out why they rang.

About two weeks ago, that number rang me. I missed it and when I called back, the message said if it was important they’d ring me again. They did call again today, but I missed it a second time. I’ve had some blood tests recently and all came back fine.

Yeah, this is totally from Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital. They rang to tell me I qualify for antiviral meds since I’m COVID positive and at risk. I didn’t pick up cos I missed the call, but shortly after got a text from them saying they’d called and gave me a number to ring back and chat.

Seems like it's a number from Guy's and St Thomas’ hospital, but I wouldn’t trust it. They ring and then hang up straight away when you pick up, hoping you’ll call back and end up paying for the call. That’s dodgy behaviour, no decent or genuine organisation would be doing that.
