Got a call from a woman asking to talk to our company Director by name. When I asked what the call was about, she said it was a follow-up after he’d already had a chat with her Director. I pressed her again about the reason for the call, and she then insisted she was speaking to ‘male name’, even though I’m a woman who answered. After I kept asking, she just said "Fine, I'll ring my Director instead" and ended the call. Smells like a total SCAM to me.

Got a quick call from a lady who sounded quite rude, saying she had the phone number of a business owner and would ring them straightaway. But when I tried calling back, the line was busy with an international engaged signal.

They keep ringing nonstop asking for the owner by name but won’t leave any voicemail, just say they’ll shoot an email over. Spoiler alert: I never get the email!
