I got a call from 0208 089 3355 too, telling me someone was watching me or something like that! Don’t pay any attention if they ring you, it’s a load of rubbish and the cops already know about it. Just hang up and be safe.

Some bloke from India called me saying my house was being watched and that I was gonna get nicked for tax dodging. Proper scared me and my young lad. He told me to cough up money or get a lawyer involved.

Just saw on BBC Money Box that this is a scam, they’re faking being HMRC and trying to pull a fast one. Totally dodgy.

Got the exact same voicemail on Friday 2nd February 2018. I’ve handed over the audio and the phone number to the cops. I can only imagine how upsetting and frightening this would be for elderly folks or anyone who’s vulnerable. To those nasty scammers behind this, just think about how you’d react if your own mum or dad had to hear that kind of thing. Honestly, I’m furious, not frightened one bit. T######.

Got a few calls saying I'm the prime suspect and that my place is being watched. Honestly, just don’t ring me again.

Got a threatening call from 0208 0893355 saying my home was being watched and I had to ring 0207 1753508 or face prosecution. Total scam, don’t fall for it! I’ve reported it to the cops already. These people are just criminals.

I got a voicemail like this too, saying something about being watched or something sketchy and that I need to ring back or else I might get in trouble legally. Seems a bit dodgy to me.

I got a call from an automated voice telling me I was being prosecuted and that my home was under surveillance. It said to ring them back. When I did, all I got was three quick beeps and then it just cut off. Really suspicious, if you ask me.
