somebody called me up and knew exactly where I was living. then they actually turned up at my place less than half an hour later, which freaked me out so much i had to ring the cops.

someone on the phone actually knew my address and ended up turning up about 20 minutes after, so i had no choice but to ring the cops.

Got a call this afternoon around 2, from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming he was calling on behalf of BT. He was telling me to do some stuff over the phone, but I was suspicious straight away since I don’t have BT at all. Definitely smelled like a scam to me.
