Got a call from someone saying they were from the tax office, telling me there's a warrant out for me over unpaid tax. Just told them off and ended the call straight away.

i got a call from someone sayin they were with HMRC, sayin i have over £3,700 in unpaid taxes and that i might get arrested within 3 days if i don’t sort it out. they accused me of fraud and threatened i'd be held in custody till a court hearing. they pressured me to pay some money to settle the issue. i ended up reporting the whole thing to action fraud.

Got a voicemail from someone supposedly from HMRC about a tax return and a fine. They told me to ring back the number straight away, said it was urgent. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

got a voicemail claiming to be from bt saying our phone would be cut off today. problem is, we use the post office for our landline, not bt. the message gave two choices to press; i can't quite remember the first one but the second was to confirm the disconnection. i just ended the call.
