I’ve received a message that claims to be from Wonga, urging me to reach out to a specified number. It lures recipients by stating that for a mere £1.03, one can settle any pending loan and restore their credit rating. The thing is, I’ve never taken out a loan in my life! I received a message claiming to be from Wonga loans, suggesting that I need to settle a payment to resolve a debt. The problem is, I’ve never taken out any loan with Wonga at all! Definitely sounds like a scam to me!

listened back to the voicemail and it said something like "this is a message from Wonga, please press 1" - probably one of those tricks that link you to a premium line if you press anything. I'd say that’s definitely a risky call to watch out for.
