Got a text claiming to be from Wonga urging me to ring a number. Supposedly, by paying just £1.03, I can clear some loan and fix my credit score. Thing is, I’ve never taken out a loan in my life. Also, had an automated call telling me to press 1 if I was Amanda Talent or 9 if I wasn’t. Cheers, Herbert.

Got a call from somewhere called Wonga loans saying I needed to pay up to clear a debt. Problem is, I’ve never taken out a loan with them. Definitely a scam!

listened back to the voicemail and it said something like "this is a message from Wonga, please press 1" - probably one of those tricks that link you to a premium line if you press anything. I'd say that’s definitely a risky call to watch out for.
