I came across a number associated with commercial modelling, and they’re insisting on a £50 deposit before anything else. Seems a bit off to me, as I’ve heard that you shouldn’t ever have to pay to model. My phone has flagged this number as spam, which makes me even more wary.

This morning, I received a call from a chap named Rob Peters, who claimed to be the New Face Manager at Next Generation Talent. He seemed quite pleased with the photo I attached with my application. We had a nice, breezy conversation; he was very personable. He mentioned he'd sent an email containing details about the agency and requested that I forward him a recent picture of myself. To my surprise, however, the email included a request for a £50.00 deposit for a photoshoot. It became clear that they’re not exactly a traditional modelling agency but more like an initial scout. The email made it sound urgent, emphasising that it was a first come, first served basis. After doing a bit of digging into NGTalent, I found everything looked somewhat decent, but I've decided to steer clear after reading some less-than-pleasant reviews regarding the phone number 02071352078.
