When I picked up the phone, there was complete silence on the other end.

Blimey, they nearly had me fooled! Just about fell for their cunning ruse! Thankfully, I exercised a bit of caution and contacted O2 directly to verify their claims. Turns out, those blokes were nothing but a bunch of scammers, and that enticing 35% discount they promoted was nothing but a sham. What a close shave!

I got a call from someone who said they were from O2 and even used my full name. They tried to tempt me with a 40% discount, but I’ve never been an O2 customer. When I questioned why they were ringing me, knowing I’m not with O2, they just ended the call. Feels like a total scam to me.

Somebody rang saying they were from O2, but it was pretty obvious they weren’t. For a laugh, I asked them to tell me what phone I was using - they didn’t get it right the first time and then tried again, still no luck. Proper funny moment!
