Got a call from someone saying they were with the FCA, talking about a refund for bank fees. They asked if I wanted it sent straight to my bank or by cheque. The bloke said his name was Andrew Green. After that, I got a silent call from the same number. When I tried calling them back using a different phone, they wouldn’t tell me who they were or which company they worked for, and then just hung up on me. Definitely dodgy.

I usually keep my number unlisted, but about five days after I moved, I got a ring from this number claiming I had some government money waiting. They actually had my previous name and my fresh address too. After I checked with my phone company, I learnt that my old name was still showing up on the BT records and by mistake, my number wasn't marked as ex-directory. They've sorted it now, but it’s too late as my info's already out there and could easily be passed around. xx

This number keeps popping up but with slight changes every day. It’s been calling me quite often, usually really early in the morning. Proper frustrating to deal with!

Got three calls one after the other, but no one said a word on the other end.

I got a call from someone saying they were from a Government Department and that I had money owed to me. They wanted me to ring a specific number, but I didn’t hang around long enough to catch what it was.

Got a call from a polite man claiming to be from some agency about a refund. He asked me to press 1 to continue. Pretty clear this is a scam, so I just put the number through BT 1572 to block it.
