I picked up the phone, only for the line to go dead straight away. So they've been blocked. In my experience running a business, it seems that an alarming 95% (if not more) of calls from 0207 numbers are nothing but nuisance calls, predominantly from overseas, particularly Indian call centres. With the wonders of VoIP technology, it's astonishing how anyone can easily mask their identity and make it appear as if they're calling from the UK, regardless of their actual location. So never make the mistake of assuming that a UK geographical number means the caller is legitimately based in the UK!

The call ended abruptly as soon as I picked up. When I tried reaching back, I was greeted by a recorded message stating it belonged to Leader and their business intelligence department. Fortunately, I managed to connect with a representative who helped me get my number taken off their calling list.
