I get calls from this number like, at least ten times every day! Whenever I pick up, there's this awkward pause for a couple of seconds and then they just hang up without saying a single word. It’s really irritating, I don’t get why they do that.

Got a call from some cheeky London blokes trying to push me some investment schemes. They didn’t seem dodgy, maybe even quite sincere, but when I told them I didn’t have any cash to put in, they just didn’t seem to take it seriously. Plus, they kept asking all sorts of personal stuff like how many kids I’ve got and their ages - pretty clear they’re gathering market info rather than just selling. If you’re not interested in finance stuff or having a long chat with overly chatty sales types, best to give it a miss.
