Apparently, there's a survey going around regarding family savings, or so I’ve heard.

I received a call where the person on the other end mentioned my name and claimed to be representing the Family Savings Club. They wanted me to participate in a survey, but I politely declined and swiftly ended the call.

I received a call from someone overseas who wanted to have a chat with me. I ended up pretending to be someone completely different. They were quite courteous, but I must say, these persistent calls are really wearing me thin.

I often receive daft calls like that, but for any iPhone owners out there, here's a tip: after you end the call, just slide down on the number and you can easily block them! I'm not entirely sure how it works on other devices, but it might be worth a try. Keep your spirits up, everyone! - caller: 020 7101 7003

Tired of those incessant phone calls? Take a leaf out of my book and grab yourself a whistle! It’s a brilliant way to send them packing!

I've labelled this number in my phone as 'annoyance call.' Whenever they ring me, I tell them there's a 'security protocol' they must follow to reach the person they’re after. I start asking them questions like their name, company, and date of birth. More often than not, they just mutter 'thank you' and hang up. Job done! Haven't had a peep from them since.

I frequently receive calls from this number. An effective trick I've discovered for dealing with them swiftly is to say, "Just one moment, I’ll connect you," and then keep them hanging until they finally hang up themselves. Alternatively, as I mentioned earlier, you could implement a security questionnaire method to filter out the unwanted callers.

I've received calls from this number six times already. The first time, I kindly declined their offer, and the second time, I was equally courteous. By the third call, however, I had enough and told them where to go. The fourth time, I mentioned I'd consider reporting them, and on the fifth occasion, I told them to do one. Now it seems they've caught on to the fact that my name has been updated, as they’re now only addressing me by my first name! I’m really at my wits' end here-how do I go about reporting them? This is becoming rather tedious! - caller: 02071017003

Lately, I’ve been inundated with a barrage of pesky phone calls! Today, I started taking note of the numbers. The very first one I noted was 02071017003. A chap with an unclear accent-not a hint of Britishness, I’d wager-rang up and introduced himself by saying, “Hello, I’m carrying out a household survey.” At that moment, I decided to just end the call as I’m utterly fed up with the hassle of asking them to take my number off their list... which they never do anyway! It’s really starting to get on my nerves now! 😒

It appears I've been contacted by some unfortunate soul with a rather shaky grasp of the English language-likely hailing from Africa or, more plausibly, Eastern Europe. They claimed it was part of a survey regarding financial services or something of that sort. Honestly, it's well overdue for the authorities to step in and put an end to this nuisance. Surely, they have the means to trace these callers and, ideally, lock them away for good!

Received a call this afternoon from someone requesting I fill out an easy household survey. I was reassured with a 'don't be concerned.' Well, whenever I hear that phrase... you can bet there's a cause for concern! I suggest just hanging up. Remember, it’s your phone, and you're the one in charge!

On the 24th of November at 2 PM, I received a call from someone with an American accent, claiming to be conducting a family savings survey. They insisted they represented a UK business but were rather evasive when I asked for any company information or an address. When pressed, they mentioned that they obtain phone numbers from the UK electoral register or utility providers. Quite questionable, if you ask me!

The call came through with no clear purpose, just some jumbled words or perhaps a stutter, and it was evidently from someone with a foreign accent.

I received a phone call from a woman with a foreign accent, who was quite insistent about conducting some sort of household survey. I politely declined, expressing my lack of interest, and she reassured me that it wouldn't take long. I reiterated my disinterest, and to my surprise, she abruptly disconnected the call. I could certainly hear the commotion of others in what sounded like a call centre in the background. The name she mentioned was Family Money Savings.

It’s high time the authorities took action against those irritating nuisance calls that bombard us daily, causing significant worry and discomfort for countless individuals. Those behind these relentless disturbances ought to face repercussions that mirror the distress they inflict on others.

Had a rather unnerving experience today with an eerie silent call. There was a bit of commotion in the background, yet not a soul on the line addressing me. Quite unsettling, to be honest. I’m considering filing a complaint with Ofcom, but given that this issue has been ongoing for ages as per what I've read here, I fear that Ofcom might just turn a blind eye-another lacklustre agency that doesn’t seem to take root for action.

Received a call from 02071017003 claiming to be conducting a council survey. I decided to listen in for a bit, but then an American-accented chap with a Chinese manner of speaking began inquiring whether I owned a satellite dish. That was enough for me, and I promptly cut the line. Seriously, when will the authorities put an end to this sort of nonsense? It’s becoming increasingly alarming; folks are actually dreading the sound of their phones ringing!

If you happen to mention that you’re living in a rented accommodation, those energy-saving folks tend to back off quite quickly. It's an effective little trick to keep them at bay!

I received a couple of calls from this number while I was out and about. When I rang them back, I was greeted by a rather articulate American woman with a Filipino accent, much different from the usual front-line operators who often speak in a way that's hard to follow. She mentioned they were reaching out regarding "a straightforward household survey" and insisted it was "nothing to fret about." I can only presume that these folks are engaged in data collection and resale, which is incredibly dodgy. I've fallen prey to similar tactics before, and if you entertain them even briefly, brace yourself for a flood of unwanted sales calls from both UK and international scammers, despite having signed up for the TPS. My advice would be to give them a piece of your mind, hang up promptly, and make sure to report them to Ofcom for a silent call, as well as the ICO for being an unwanted sales caller. Bear in mind, you can’t contact TPS about them unless you have the name of the caller.

I've had six calls from them today, all repeatedly asking for someone named Mrs. Anderson. I’ve made it clear that I'm not her and that I'm not interested, yet the calls keep coming. I’ve been receiving incessant silent calls each day - it’s utterly unsettling. I've notified Ofcom about this issue. At this point, I feel my only recourse is to silence my phone entirely. Consequently, I can’t take any incoming calls now! All thanks to these annoying nuisances. It feels like harassment! I'm genuinely frightened, and it’s causing me a great deal of anxiety. For goodness' sake, can someone please put an end to this madness!

This particular number has been pestering our home phone on numerous occasions, typically around twice daily and on occasion even more frequently, for the best part of a month now. The caller ID consistently flashes up as 'international'. I've employed a range of methods to try and curtail these incessant interruptions, but to no avail; I've resorted to ignoring them for the most part. The one time I accidentally answered without glancing at the caller ID, I was met with a spiel about my computer being compromised. It’s evident these callers are relentless and a proper bother!

I had an odd encounter earlier today with someone who barely spoke English. They were inquiring about the previous occupant of this address. I informed them that no one of that name resided here and they asked if I was connected to a number that ends with certain digits. I confirmed that we frequently receive calls meant for Mr and Mrs X, then wished them a lovely day. The caller claimed to represent UK Style and Home and wanted to do a brief survey. I explained that I was expecting an important call and requested they refrain from calling in the future.

This number is incessantly ringing me, inquiring about an individual who has never held this phone. It’s clearly a tactic of some sort. The callers have strong accents and persist in trying to extract personal details from me, even after I've explained that their records are mistaken. Quite bizarre!

In the last four days alone, my phone has been bombarded with calls-seven times, to be precise! I've noticed it’s also from numbers like 02084334287 and 02034355707. I've been registered with the Telephone Preference Service for ages, yet these nuisances seem to find a way around it without fail. I make it a point not to pick up if I happen to be home, and curiously, they never leave a voicemail. Quite the mystery, isn’t it?

I keep getting calls from this number and as soon as they mispronounce my name, I end the call. It’s rather amusing how my unusual surname gives me an upper hand in this situation! The caller always seems to have a thick accent, likely from somewhere in the Indian subcontinent. I really wish I could just block these annoying calls entirely!

Regrettably, it appears that this dubious company is misappropriating our name, 'YOUR VOICE COUNTS'. We are a charity dedicated to supporting individuals with learning disabilities across Gateshead and South Tyneside (Charity Number 1125719, Registered Company Number 6654142).

We are quite distressed, as we have no affiliation with these individuals who have hijacked our identity.

Numerous complaints have been lodged with the Telephone Preference Service, notwithstanding the fact that we aren't the ones making these calls (many complainants have noted the number from above in their reports).

I've posted an explanation on our website to clarify the situation and have contacted the local Trading Standards Authority about this matter.

I firmly believe these calls are of a 'phishing' nature, aimed at gathering personal information to facilitate scams or fraudulent activities.

Received a call from someone purporting to be from "Your voice counts." Inquired how they acquired my number and firmly stated that I wasn't interested in engaging with them again. Didn't let them respond as I was feeling a bit testy and didn’t want to come off as too abrupt, so I ultimately hung up.
