I've been hounded by this lot-specifically calling from 02031487648. It's always a blank call, probably because their dialling system is juggling far too many numbers at once. I thought that sort of thing was supposed to be illegal now! I decided to ring the number back, found out who was behind it, and promptly contacted their head office. I made it crystal clear that I do not appreciate these silent calls, especially considering I'm registered with the TPS. I flat out warned them that if they thought it wise to call again, they'd better be prepared for a proper earful. I couldn't care less if they're conducting some sort of 'research'-they should keep their hands off my phone unless they fancy being on the receiving end of some choice language. It’s utterly preposterous that these individuals from IFF persist in making calls to folks who are already registered with the Telephone Preference Service. They’re as intrusive as any sales pitch, yet somehow aren’t subject to the same regulations. I reached out via the contact form on their site earlier this evening, having already done so a fortnight ago, requesting they cease all communications with me. Despite my clear wishes, they haven’t stopped ringing me up. I’ve taken the step of blocking their number, so they can’t get through, as I have zero interest in what they’re peddling.
