Got a call from someone claiming to be Mr John from Carphone Warehouse, offering an amazing deal on the Samsung S21 Ultra. I went ahead and gave my card info for direct debit as I wanted two phones, one for me and another for my wife. They asked me to pay £49.99 each upfront for the handsets. But so far, nothing’s turned up and when I checked with Carphone Warehouse, they said there’s no record of any order from me. Feels like I’ve been completely ripped off. Watch out, this is definitely a scam, best to stay well away.
