I've received a whole bunch of calls from this number, and every time I pick up, there's just silence on the line before they eventually hang up. It's rather unsettling, to be honest.

Received a call from this number earlier today claiming to be with UK Habits. Based on their manner of speaking, I suspect this is the same group that's been inundating us with countless bothersome calls, occasionally from withheld numbers and at other times, from overseas. It's high time these guys were shut down and taken to task!

It’s astounding how some individuals react! Whenever I inform them that they’ve dialled the wrong number, they just get increasingly aggressive. I’ve now started receiving multiple calls throughout the day, and the hostility is relentless.

I've encountered this absolute fool with an Indian or Bengali accent attempting to put on a British twang to get you discussing your computer security. It's frankly outrageous! Someone ought to take legal action against him. With all the surveillance that's supposed to be happening online, it’s baffling that these kinds of scams can slip through the cracks. What's more, the number originates from somewhere in London-right in Big Brother's backyard-and yet, it seems like nothing is being done about it!

I'm receiving incessant phone calls from this particular number. I managed to have a chat with a gentleman who had a thick accent, possibly Indian or Chinese. He claimed to be representing UK Habit Lifestyle and prompted me to verify my address, postcode, and the like. I informed him that I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service and requested they cease contacting me. Rather rudely, he hung up without a word of farewell or an apology. Despite that, I continue to receive calls from this number, and when I pick up, the line goes completely silent. Next time I get one of these calls, I think I’ll string them along for as long as I can and fill their ears with nonsense!

I received a call from a woman with an accent that sounded Indian. She claimed to be from my internet provider, mentioning their name, and alerted me to some "bad signals" affecting my computer. I simply decided to end the call!

I’d really like to put an end to these incessant calls! They seem to ring me up as often as three times a day, which is quite bothersome.

I've been receiving calls from this number at an ungodly hour, precisely 0150, every single morning, yet there’s never anyone on the line. As someone who works shifts and has two little ones to tend to, not to mention my dad just had a stroke last week, those calls send me into a panic, thinking something grave has happened. It's infuriating that my phone service provider refuses to block this number, no matter how many times I ask. If anyone has any advice, I’d be grateful for the assistance!

I keep receiving multiple calls throughout the day from someone with what sounds like an Indian accent, wanting to inquire about "lifestyle" details. A couple of years back, I made the choice to stop these unsolicited calls, yet this particular one has turned into a relentless annoyance.

The most effective solution is undoubtedly an answering machine - it keeps the pests at bay! If you don’t pick up, they soon get fed up. If you absolutely must engage, be sure to jot down their name and the company, and then report them for harassment. However, by replying, you’ve walked straight into their trap; expect a barrage of calls after that! Utilise the call-blocking feature that most providers offer as a complimentary service. As for international calls, it’s best to ignore those unless they’re genuinely necessary. My holiday firm operates internationally too, which can be a bit tricky, but we find times to chat that work wonderfully - it’s foolproof! Investing in an answering machine is wise; you can always return calls to family or business later. And don't forget Skype - it’s free and offers the bonus of seeing a friendly face!

I just received a call at precisely 10:25 this morning, on the 17th of October, 2014. The chap on the other end was eager to inform me about a supposed 80% discount on my fuel costs. His name was David, and he had quite a strong Eastern accent. Apparently, he was keen to assist me in saving a grand total of £1000! I let him babble on for a bit, but honestly, I wasn't fully paying attention. I thanked him for his concern but explained that I didn’t quite grasp what he was on about, then I ended the conversation.

Indeed, I received a couple of calls from this number on the 15th of October at precisely 17:29. The first attempt left me baffled as the line went dead without a word. The second time, I didn't waste a moment; I swiftly hit the "Block" option on my call blocker. And that, as they say, was the end of that! Toodle-oo to them!

I've noticed a recurring theme among those who dial this number, along with approximately 200 others. Being part of the emergency services, I’ve taken the liberty to notify the authorities, and they’re actively working to track down these troublesome callers. It seems that we're getting closer to catching the culprits behind this scam. A nice stint in prison might just be in order for them!

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from some “solicitors” firm, saying I’d had an accident in the past 3 years. I told her the only accident I’d had was queuing for the loo, not wasting time on dodgy calls like hers, and asked her to remove my number. If they ring back, I’m tempted to play along without sharing any details, just to get their client’s address and then send them a bill for my trouble. And if they want to come round in person, I’ll happily waste their time the same way they waste mine.

On the 16th of October, 2014, I received a call from this number, where the caller insisted I had been involved in an accident. In truth, that wasn't the case at all. Despite my repeated assurances that I was perfectly fine, he kept pressing me with the same question. It felt rather relentless. I eventually requested him to remove my details from his records, but he outright refused. I then informed him that I would reach out to the data protection authorities. At that point, he simply ended the call.

I keep getting calls from these folks, and as soon as I pick up, they just disconnect. Being 77 and having retired, I've got plenty of time on my hands. If they do manage to say something, I don’t hesitate to give them a piece of my mind before I hang up!

I recently received a call from this number. The individual on the line insisted he was representing Windows, claiming he was ringing regarding some error alerts that had been popping up. Funnily enough, I was grappling with issues of my own related to Windows Updates failing to install properly and was just about to dive into fixing it all myself. He inquired whether my computer was switched on, but sensing something wasn't quite right, I replied that it was off, and he promptly cut the call. I then called 1471 and discovered the number above. Definitely seems like a dodgy scam to me!

I've been getting loads of calls on my unlisted landline from 02070976517. Whenever I answer, there's no one there, and when I try calling them back, the line's always busy. It's really annoying. Could someone look into this and block their number? Cheers.

I’ve just had a rather dubious phone call claiming to be from ‘Windows Technical Assistance’, insisting they were receiving numerous reports of issues with my computer. They tried to convince me to install some software, which could easily compromise my banking information and other personal data! The audacity of these callers is astounding - this one went by the name of Moose and claimed he was ringing from India, as if we wouldn’t see through it! This is starting to cross into criminal territory. If you find yourself on the receiving end of such a call, I urge you to contact the Fraud Action line at 0300 1232040 immediately.

Lately, we've noticed a peculiar number flashing on our caller ID when our family ring us from Australia. It’s a new occurrence, and we're utterly baffled by it. Strangely enough, there's no indication of an "international" call like there used to be; instead, it's just this random number that appears. It’s quite unsettling, to be honest. Could it be that someone’s tampering with our phone line, or perhaps eavesdropping on our conversations? I’m really not pleased about this situation but am at a loss as to how to put an end to it!

I've been inundated with these irritating calls, at least two or three a week, and I've just started getting them on my mobile as well - all about PPI. Honestly, are they completely daft? Do they honestly believe I'll fiddle around with my computers just because some chaps claim they're from Microsoft? What universe are they living in? To add to my frustration, I got a call saying I'd been involved in a minor car accident. When I quizzed him on the details, he just ignored the question and resorted to some rather foul language instead, which really didn’t sit well with me. After letting him drone on, I felt compelled to inform him that if he was indeed representing Microsoft or a law firm, he ought to be dismissed for his appalling approach to customer interaction. Then I decided to give him a taste of my own vocabulary and kept pressing for his actual name, wondering if perhaps he was too embarrassed to share it. Suffice it to say, he didn’t hang around for long. It really is a disgrace that companies like BT don’t vet who they're selling their numbers to!

They rang me a couple of times but I didn’t pick up since I didn’t know the number and they didn’t leave a voicemail either. I’ve just changed my details on the electoral register enquiry form to stop my info being shared with anyone buying the list from the council. Fingers crossed this cuts down on all the junk calls and letters I keep getting.

The chap was incredibly impolite and refused to take no for an answer. After some back-and-forth, I warned him that I would involve the police if he persisted. That seemed to do the trick as he abruptly hung up on me!

I've received four calls from this number in just one day, each time from someone with an Indian accent insisting they're conducting a consumer survey. When I requested they refrain from calling me further, the chap cheekily stated he'd ring me back in five minutes. I asked to escalate the matter and speak to his manager, but it appeared to be the same person on the line! He then threatened to pass my number round to all their agents, promising I'd be inundated with calls. After that, he just disconnected. Absolutely outrageous behaviour!

I keep getting calls from this number at all hours. It appears to be some company banging on about Fully Funded Solar Panels. I’ve dealt with a few other numbers that sound a bit more local and approachable, but when I tell them I'm not interested in solar panels and ask to be removed from their list, they nod along, sounding polite. Yet, lo and behold, the calls keep coming! It’s beyond frustrating and feels like a right waste of time.

So, I made a VoIP call from Spain to a UK mobile, and guess what pops up-this 02070976517 number! Quite peculiar, isn’t it? My worry stems from the fact that the call's being placed from my computer over in Spain. Could this be some sort of sneaky method to compromise my device with malware or something even more sinister?

Received a call from someone asserting they were from a 'Windows software firm', insisting they could resolve issues with my computer. I firmly requested they remove my number from their list, although I’m not holding my breath that they’ll comply. I plan to document everything that happens from now on, just in case.

I received a call from a firm we collaborate with over in Russia, and they showed up on my phone with this particular number displayed. However, it doesn’t match the actual number the caller was using. Even though the call was legitimate, it seems like there's some issue with how calls from Russia are being routed. Odd, isn’t it?

Received a call today from someone at "CCS" about an accident I supposedly experienced three years back. They seemed a bit confused and were asking me to verify some details. I mentioned that it was actually vandalism that caused a right mess at the rear of my vehicle and that I'm presently without a permanent residence. Curiously, they hung up rather quickly after that! I encourage anyone who gets similar calls to waste a bit of their time - it’s the least they deserve.

My work mobile receives a call from them daily without fail. I've decided to redirect those calls straight to the office fax machine. I must admit, I quite relish the thought of them being greeted by that incessant high-pitched shriek when it picks up!

I received a rather puzzling call where the person insisted that I must have either completed a survey or reported an accident I’d endured over the past three years. The truth is, I haven't! No matter how many times I reiterated my desire to speak with her supervisor, they were mysteriously unavailable. Yet, I remained patient and insisted on waiting. Instead of addressing my request, she just kept circling back to her script, asking, “Have you been in an accident within the last three years? I can arrange for a manager to return your call, blah blah blah.” My advice? Don’t divulge a thing!

I’ve noticed that previous gripes relate to the whole computer virus con. This number keeps pestering me regarding some supposed accident. It appears to be an outfit of individuals holed up in a basement, systematically dialling through a roster of phone numbers, fishing for unsuspecting folks to swindle and lure into dodgy insurance claims. Quite frankly, they seem to be a lot of chancers who ought to have their precious time squandered.

I've been getting calls from this number ever since I switched to a new phone. It first rang me on my old line, and now, here we are again with the new one! Each time they ring, there's either a strange silence or I can hear some chitchat between them in the background. It's quite baffling how they've managed to get hold of my new digits, as I certainly haven’t shared them with anyone! Seems like they must be dialling a ton of random numbers.

How curious! I received a call about insurance today, and just yesterday it was BT on the line. It's hardly a surprise that I suspect some dodgy dealings from this lot. I wouldn't put it past them to try and sweet talk you into divulging your personal information, only to turn around and impersonate you for nefarious purposes-absolutely dreadful! Is there genuinely anyone out there looking into this? It seems like you'd have to suffer a hefty financial loss before the authorities decide to take a closer look at fraud cases.

The individual on the other end claimed to be from a service called "Unwanted Calls" or something along those lines. Quite the peculiar encounter, if you ask me!
