I got a call from someone claiming to be Officer Kevin Jones, saying I had a debt of £4,897 and there was a warrant for my arrest. They told me I had to get a lawyer and even gave me a fake court date at the magistrates for tax evasion. The whole thing felt like a call centre setup. When I asked a few questions, the guy suddenly got quite aggressive. He kept pushing me to either send money right away or go straight to the bank, and warned me not to speak to anyone else and to stay on the line. I just ended the call.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with HMRC, said I owed nearly £4900 in unpaid tax. Felt a bit like a scam, sounded like a call centre bloke on the line. Definitely seemed dodgy to me.
