A call, supposedly from O2, wanting to talk about my SIM-only contract. I asked to speak to her superior as this is the fourth call, and I was told there was no superior there. I don't have an O2 SIM!

Def scam. I received a call from them saying they were O2. I said I was happy with my contract and to take me off their call list, then put the phone down. They called straight back and asked why I ended the call. I repeated my previous statement, and she said very loudly, "YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO ME, WOMAN, I AM NOT SELLING A CONTRACT." I told her she would need to improve her selling skills then and put the phone down!

They’ve rung me thrice now, all under the guises of seeking opinions for O2. Quite the nuisance, really!

I could hear kids in the background during the call. The person on the line addressed me as "sir," which raised an immediate red flag since I'm a woman! They claimed they would send a new SIM card to my address, but it just felt off, so I hung up. Quite certain it was nothing but a scam!

I received a strange call where they claimed I had an O2 SIM with them. I told them that wasn't the case, and then they asked if it was possibly with Virgin Media. At that point, I just hung up. Definitely a dodgy operation, if you ask me!

Received a dodgy phone call today, claiming that my line would be cut off unless I activated a new SIM card they'd supposedly be sending to me. It's all very fishy!

Just had a dodgy experience with O2. Definitely sounds like a scam to me!

Received a call purporting to be from O2, notifying me of an imminent switchover from Virgin Media which would lead to my phone number being blocked. Rubbish, seeing as O2 acquired Virgin Media quite some time back! As I was about to hang up, the whole tone shifted— the caller became irate and began shouting. Quite the experience!

I’ve been getting calls from someone claiming to be from O2/Virgin Media, but it seems a bit fishy. I'd advise just to pass on this number and definitely block it.
