I received a call from this number and answered with a friendly "hello," but there was silence on the other end. After a brief moment, the caller simply ended the call. Quite odd, if you ask me!

I received a call from this number but couldn’t answer it at that moment. Afterward, I decided to look it up and stumbled upon a host of reviews about it. Rather than returning the missed call on our mobile, we’ve now established a little corner on our iPhone for suspicious numbers. Whenever any dubious callers make an appearance, we bundle them all together in a single contact named ‘Do Not Reply’. I even switched the ringtone to something a bit cheeky to deter any further nuisances - it’s all quite amusing really! I tend to research unfamiliar numbers on the internet before deciding to call back.

I've received two calls from this number, but I chose not to pick up. When I rang it back, I got a message saying, "Welcome to Walk n Talk, please input your PIN." I tried entering 1234, but it didn't work. I noticed the area code was 0207, which is from inner London, and the 097 prefix seemed to point towards Fitzrovia, close to Oxford Street at the heart of central London.

It seems that many internet cafes tend to utilise 'Walk n Talk'. So, if you receive a call from this number, it's quite likely to be a scam. In our situation, it's likely just a mate trying to get hold of us because her phone has run out of funds. Whatever happened to the good old payphones!? ;/

I've had this chap ring me several times, leaving voicemails insisting he needs to chat with us urgently. Oddly enough, he doesn't seem to know who we are. We've opted to ignore his calls from now on.

A mate of mine just gave us a bell from this number and left a voicemail. We returned the call to her mobile, and she mentioned that she had called us from a locutorio, which is basically an internet café, situated in Brixton, right next to the leisure centre.

Quite peculiar, those phone calls where you hear odd ringing from folks who haven’t even hung up yet! It's almost like a ghostly presence on the line, isn't it?

A chap rang us up claiming to be from a cyber café in Edgware. The line was rather poor, all crackly and distorted, making it quite a struggle to catch what he was trying to convey.

There's this bloke who keeps ringing and leaving voicemails saying that someone urgently needs to speak with us. The strange thing is, he doesn’t even know who we are. We've decided to stop responding to his calls altogether now.

I’m keen to find out who’s behind the call I just received.

The gentleman who rang us from this number resides in Leytonstone, East London, and is employed at a pub in Covent Garden. It’s been a couple of weeks now since we had any contact with him. Should we consider sharing his details with someone else?

I've been receiving some rather odd calls from someone who just won't stop chatting on the line. It's quite peculiar, really!

Received a call from someone making rather alarming threats about not settling a £60 debt to a person we ended up recognising. They insisted we'd come to regret our decision if we didn’t comply.

Received a call from this number earlier today, beginning with +44207, which we found rather odd. I answered while I was at my job, introducing myself and stating my department at the council, but there was complete silence on the line. Eventually, we ended the call, and now I can’t ring them back since my system has blocked the number. Quite peculiar, I must say!

Received a call from this number earlier today (31st March 2010, around 10:38). We decided not to answer as we didn't recognise it. Is the chap you encountered on your voicemail perhaps someone from abroad, given his peculiar accent?

I spotted the number +2079711997 on my husband's phone and decided to give it a ring. It replied with a rather odd message, ‘walk and speak, enter your pin.’ Earlier, he had a phone call that seemed familiar to him, and it raised my eyebrows. Out of curiosity, I looked up his call logs and found this number. I tried calling again, but alas, got the same peculiar response. Are we losing our minds here?

Today, we received a call from this number, but we chose not to answer since it had a + followed by a zero, which struck us as rather suspicious. I tried to return the call, only to be greeted by a recorded message that said the number doesn’t accept incoming calls. Quite odd, isn’t it?

We recently received a call from this number, but we gave it a miss, just like I do with all those numbers I don't recognise. Later on, we found a voicemail from a woman with an accent that’s quite hard to pin down, saying, "Rita, it’s Rosemary." It’s all rather peculiar, to say the least!

Received a call from someone claiming to represent a gym company called GLL. They were fishing for personal details for a monthly gym subscription. I double-checked with my gym, and they confirmed this number isn't legitimate. When you call back, it responds with "Talk n Walk." I've escalated this issue now.

A while back, we had a night out with a French chap, and just the other day, we received a call from this number. After doing a bit of digging and coming across some comments about folks reaching out, I must admit, it all seems rather odd!
