They ring me at the exact same time every single day, but when I pick up, there’s never anyone there. It’s like an endless loop with no response. Pretty annoying really.

Because of how some companies operate, they're usually not connected unless they offer some kind of introduction about who they are and why they’re calling. This firm, ME Group or something linked to “Marcus Evans” or a similar organisation, is involved with conferences or clinical trial discussions. We’ve repeatedly asked them to stop calling, but they just don’t listen. It sounds like they might hire people from various parts of the UK to place these calls, so blocking numbers is pointless. They often ring around 10am or just after lunch, around 2pm. If they can’t reach the CEO, they either search online or on LinkedIn and try again, asking for someone else. When that tactic fails, they call back a few days later with a different angle, still pretty rude when they don’t get through.

So this same number kept ringing me up day after day, but they kept asking for someone else every time! At first, I thought it was just a mistake but it was definitely the same caller. They said they were from 'Emmy Finance' or something like that. Pretty weird, honestly.
