02046217098 Got a call from this number, bloke spoke with an Asian accent, said he was from O2 (which is a lie, they never ring). I told him right away "you're trying to scam me" but he kept going with his spiel and asked if I wanted to listen. He then said twice "how did you find that out?" before just hanging up on me before I could respond. Definitely a scam, best to stay clear. If you need to contact O2, just ring them directly yourself. Honestly, if anyone phones pretending to be a company, always call the official number back to be safe. Got a call on my landline earlier and it went straight to voicemail. A bloke left a really odd, annoying message full of bizarre whispering and loud, creepy laughter. You could hear some other voices talking in English in the background, like they were on the phone saying stuff like ‘you need this’ and ‘we can sort that...’. The message finished off with someone asking, ‘who wants pizza?’ Bit weird if you ask me.

I asked if they had a website and asked him to say the company name again so I could check it out. He started acting a bit annoyed. Sounds like he might just be working off dodgy leads. When I mentioned there was a company with that name registered in Bournemouth according to Companies House, he said that wasn’t his place and just hung up.

Got a call saying someone bought a phone using my Amazon account. They sent me WhatsApp codes and emails from an Amazon-looking email trying to reset my password. I hung up, changed my password on Amazon straight away and then told Amazon what happened.

Got a call from some so called "Health and Safety" people who said they were offering a free survey. But it all felt dodgy because they started going on about energy loss at my building. The company said they were "Homestar" or something like that, but it just didn't sound right. Probably a scam.

Got a missed call when we weren't home, but no voicemail left. Later on, the same number called again and this time a woman with a southern English accent was speaking really fast about some energy certificate. I barely managed to say anything before I ended the call.

When I asked what the call was about, they said they could give me energy advice. I politely declined and mentioned I thought they were talking about stars or something. But today, a woman actually left a message saying she’s from Homestar Improvements (had a quick Google and they’re a legit building and insulation firm). She mentioned someone would get back to me soon!!! I’ve never had any contact with this company before and I’m definitely on the TPS, so they’re obviously ignoring the rules and somehow getting away with it. Just ignoring them and letting the phone ring straight to answerphone again! What a waste of time.
