Got a call from someone claiming to be from EE, saying they're sending out free upgraded SIM cards. They tried to trick my mum into handing over her password reset code for her account. Totally dodgy!

Got a call from someone saying they were from Sky Network - which seemed dodgy right off the bat since it should be Sky Mobile or Sky Broadband, not Network. When I asked what they wanted and told them I’m actually with Virgin, they just ended the call straight away!

Got a call today from someone claiming to be EE, offering a 30% discount. As soon as I told them I’m not an EE customer, they just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be EE, saying they wanted some feedback. I told them I was busy and ended the call. The next day they rang again, asking about my internet and said there was a 30% discount for current customers. Then they asked for my email, which seemed dodgy, so I just hung up. Definitely not really EE.

Got a call from this number claiming to be from Vodafone, saying my SIM would be cut off because of some system problem. They said they'd send me a replacement SIM to keep the same number, and that I had no choice or my line would be disconnected. So, I rang Vodafone myself and they told me they’d never contacted me and everything with my account was fine.
