Got a voicemail about some kind of e necklace, sounded like a total scam to me.

Pretty sure it was a scam, had someone ring me pretending to be from O2. They started chatting about working with other networks and kept pushing me to say who my provider was, even after I said I wasn’t happy to share that info. Then they went on about my SIM needing an upgrade because apparently 4G is switched off now and I must switch to 5G. Sounded dodgy to me.

It was someone who seemed genuine, chatting about selling a SIM card, but I reckon it was probably a scam.

I got a call from someone saying she was with O2. The woman, who said her name was Sarah, claimed they were cooperating with networks like EE and Vodafone too. She kept pressing me to tell her which network I use, even after saying she was from O2 and assuming I was a customer there. Despite me telling her I didn’t feel comfortable giving that info over the phone, she kept asking. She claimed my SIM card needed an upgrade because 4G would stop working in 2 days. I told her I’d just check with my provider directly if I had any concerns. She replied with a quick ‘alright ma’am’ and ended the call.
