Phone number ☎️ 02070734734 👆 is reported as a persistent scam operation impersonating HMRC and the High Court, employing aggressive tactics to pressure victims into paying fictitious tax debts. Callers often use an automated message prompting recipients to press a number, then connect to individuals with foreign accents who threaten legal action, including arrest and asset seizure. Numerous reports confirm these calls are fraudulent; genuine HMRC or court communications will never demand immediate payment or request money over the phone. Recipients are advised to hang up immediately, avoid sharing details, and report such scams to authorities to prevent financial loss and identity theft.

I've received a call from this number, and it's definitely dodgy. It seems to be linked to some hacker or fraudster. The person on the other end claimed that I had five bank accounts and that I was under investigation for a fraud case by the bank. Quite alarming, to say the least!

Total con! Got a call from a guy speaking with an Indian accent claiming I had debts to pay. Trust me, neither HMRC, any bank, nor the courts would ever demand big payments over the phone like that. Avoid it!

I got a call on 07768 234422 warning me I was about to be taken to court for fraud. Without really thinking I hit 1 to speak to someone, and was straight through to a guy who sounded Indian. He said the line was bad and then rang me back from a 0207 number. He started asking for my name, address, and how I pay my taxes. That’s when I started to get suspicious and asked how I could be sure he wasn’t trying to scam me, as my mum had been tricked badly before. He claimed he was calling from the High Court for HMRC and said he’d ring me again this morning. I’ve now blocked both numbers.

I had a rather dodgy phone call from a mobile number today. An automated voice informed me that a letter from HMRC had bounced back, and, lo and behold, I’m supposedly facing court action. The message prompted me to press 1 if I wanted to chat with someone, so I went ahead and did just that. I ended up speaking with a chap who had a thick accent-make it Indian-so I struggled a bit to grasp what he was on about. Essentially, he claimed I owed them a whopping £900. When I started probing him with questions, he abruptly hung up. Quite the cheeky scheme, I must say!

I had a similar experience today. I received a call from 447478854210. Initially, an automated message came on, insisting I speak to a representative or risk facing legal repercussions. After hitting 1, I ended up chatting with a chap who had an unmistakable Indian accent, who then passed me onto another bloke with the same accent. They claimed to represent HMRC, insisting there was an error with my taxes and warned I could be incarcerated if I didn't act immediately. They demanded I pay £997.27 through the Revolut app without delay. One of them became irate, shouting at me and calling me "a daft woman" for rejecting their demands. They were incredibly aggressive and disallowed me from seeking the counsel of my friends. Thankfully, I held onto my cash. Just a heads up to everyone out there!

Someone called claiming to be from HMRC, saying I owed £1750 in tax and needed to pay straight away. I told them I wanted to check with my accountant first and that I’d get a solicitor involved if needed, but they still insisted. Hello! I got a call earlier from a mobile number, and the caller said they were representing HMRC. They asked me for some of my personal information and instructed me to look something up on Google. Unsurprisingly, that led me down a rabbit hole of court proceedings. Shortly after, I received another call, this time from a landline. It dawned on me that the mobile number had vanished from my call history entirely, which has left me feeling quite unsettled. Total scam! They said they were from HMRC but rang me from a mobile phone, which seemed odd straight away. When I asked for proof, they switched me over to this 020 number. Today, I took the liberty of reporting this phone number to Action Fraud and the local constabulary. Earlier this morning, I received a rather alarming call from 07519 416280. The chap on the other end, who referred to himself as an “officer,” claimed that my identity had been compromised and that substantial sums of money had been pilfered. This second caller insisted that I needed to pay a sum for their investigations, which would spare me the trouble of hiring a solicitor and possibly facing incarceration. After contacting the police, I was informed that this is an obvious scam, and I ought to disregard any such communications. If there was any truth to this situation, I would have received a proper letter instead of a phone call.

I had a rather concerning phone call where I ended up sharing some of my personal information. Now I'm feeling rather uneasy about it all, especially since the woman on the line claimed that the police would be visiting me. Honestly, it strikes me as a scam - everything about it just felt off.

I've had a similar experience with a dodgy phone call, claiming to be from HMRC. They were asking for all sorts of personal information like my full name, date of birth, and National Insurance number. I stupidly bought into their ruse and gave them my details. It wasn't until they started requesting money that I realised something was off. I ended the call in a panic, but now I'm left worried sick that I've inadvertently shared my personal info with some scammers. What a ridiculous situation! 😩

I received a rather dubious call from someone claiming to be from HMRC, insisting that I owed them £1900 in taxes. They pressured me, saying they’d return the funds to my account shortly, but if I didn’t comply, the police would be on my doorstep before I knew it.

Earlier today, I received a rather alarming call from this number. The person on the other end was claiming that someone had been misusing my identity and had opened three bank accounts in my name at three separate banks. They went on to say that my existing bank account was at risk of being bankrupted and that I would need to pay over a thousand pounds in penalties! To add to the chaos, they advised me to Google this phone number. They even suggested that I download the Revolut app and log into my bank account, instructing me to transfer my funds to an unfamiliar bank account. It all felt incredibly suspicious, so I promptly ended the call and turned off my phone. I urge everyone to stay vigilant! These callers are quite deceptive, making it almost impossible to think clearly. They thrive on creating panic and confusion in their victims.

I recently received a rather alarming call from someone claiming to be from HMRC, demanding a payment of £1,000 due to a supposed tax error. I’m only 18 and have just embarked on a part-time gig at McDonald's. The person on the line was incredibly terse and insisted I cough up the cash right away, even going so far as to threaten me with the arrival of the police if I didn't comply. It's worth noting that they used the number 07477079963.

I received a rather alarming call from this number, where the caller made all sorts of vile threats linked to alleged tax evasion. I was coerced into sending money to a fraudster's account, thinking I was doing the right thing.

Eventually, the penny dropped, and I contacted HMRC. While on hold, I was subjected to their automated messages, which stated that they never reach out via phone. How handy it would have been to have that nugget of information before I fell for the ruse!

I received a rather dubious call supposedly from the UK's tax authority, claiming I had an outstanding debt with the Inland Revenue. They cleverly employed a legitimate number to make the call seem credible. It’s alarming how they can falsify caller ID, leading one to believe they’re genuine representatives. The way they operate is quite deceptive; they make you feel anxious about unpaid taxes and then offer to "resolve" the issue by encouraging you to send money directly through a banking app. Once you’ve made that bank transfer, poof - they vanish without a trace!

I received a rather alarming call from a woman named Scella Forster, who claimed I had an overdue payment for something called 'general tax’. She pressured me to declare on the spot whether I was guilty of this supposed debt, which would mean coughing up £763, or if I fancied mounting a legal defence. After a bit of digging, it turns out that 'general tax' doesn’t even exist! Throughout the conversation, she denied me the chance to reach out to anyone else for clarification and kept insisting, “Do you think this is some sort of joke?” It was alarming how she rattled off her so-called registered number and followed a rehearsed script to come across as credible.

I experienced something quite similar! I was in the midst of an important task when this woman insisted that I couldn't return her call in an hour. She just wouldn't let it go, stating that the conversation had to be concluded right then and there without interruption... so frustrating!

FRAUD ALERT! I received a call from 07576391466 claiming there was a warrant for my arrest due to tax evasion. Just moments later, they rang from 02070734734, a number supposedly linked to the Judiciary Court (they’ve managed to spoof their caller ID). They attempted to pressure me into paying £945 via my REVOLUT account to settle the matter and avoid being arrested upon my return to the UK. As I was overseas at the time, I must admit it sent me into a bit of a panic. However, after a while, I began to see through their ruse and hung up. They kept bombarding me with calls all day long - so please take care!

Fraud alert! I received a call from 07477985950 claiming there’s a warrant out for my arrest over tax evasion. They wanted me to visit a website, and even rang me using the same number. Good day, I'm Mr. Parker. I wanted to bring to your attention an alarming phone call I received from this number. The caller asserted they were associated with the High Court Judiciary, alleging that I've opened two accounts with NatWest and Halifax in connection with money laundering activities. Furthermore, there was another related mobile number, 07477762095. Best wishes, Gavin.

Absolutely shameless! I've been targeted by these crooks too. They’re quite the crafty bunch, pretending to be from HMRC court, using the same number, no less! They throw around all sorts of nonsense, aiming to terrify you into handing over your cash. One of their claims was that I was on some so-called red list with my documents all locked up. They even spun a tale about me being pregnant to ramp up the fear factor, which left me completely shaken until the truth dawned on me - what a ruse! I've since found out it's all a scam!

I've unfortunately fallen victim to a scam. They exerted a lot of pressure on me to transfer £995 initially, followed by a staggering £2000. They even went so far as to impersonate a court official. The transfers were made from my online banking to the Wise and Revolut apps, but after issues arose with those platforms, they insisted on splitting the payments. They tried to convince me that my tax was unfiled and that there were four legal allegations against me. I was given an ultimatum: either face this in court or settle the payments immediately. They even suggested I visit my bank to resolve the payments. The first number they contacted me from was 07477326020, followed by 020 7073 4734.

I received a call from this number, and the caller claimed I owed a sum of £1,500 related to a court case that needed immediate attention. They urged me to download the Revolut app to facilitate the payment. Thankfully, I refused to send any money, but I worry that others might fall for this scam.
