I received a rather unexpected call regarding a car accident that I was involved in. Naturally, I was curious about the identity of the caller, so I inquired who it was. The response I got was that it was from Citizen Advice. However, when I pressed for details on how they obtained information about my incident and who had tipped them off, the consultant promptly hung up on me. It’s quite concerning; I believe these kinds of numbers ought to be scrutinised and permanently barred from making calls.
