My landline keeps getting calls from this number. Luckily, I have caller ID, so I just ignore them, and they never bother to leave a voicemail. Even though I’m on the Telephone Preference Service list, it hasn’t stopped these constant sales calls. Just last Tuesday alone I counted eight calls in under a day! It’s really getting on my nerves. If I ever needed solar panels, a new boiler, kitchen refurbishment, medical cover or whatever, I’d find the info myself. I’d never buy anything from a cold call, no way.

I had an encounter with a rather unusual 'lady' who had a rather thick accent, attempting to sell me some energy-saving deals. She wouldn’t let me get a word in edgewise, and when I politely mentioned I wasn’t keen, she unleashed a stream of unpleasant language, calling me some rather choice names and telling me to shove off. Not surprisingly, I ended up purchasing a boiler from a different firm instead! 😂

Got a call today just before 5pm from someone saying I could get a government grant for solar panels. I told him it wouldn’t apply as I live in council housing. Then he started asking about my boiler and its age. I kept saying it wasn't relevant to me and asked him not to call me or anyone else here again. But he just wouldn’t stop talking. I said goodbye and ended the call. A few minutes later, I answered again and he was still on the line, which really annoyed me as he was tying up my phone. I got a call from someone asking to speak to the house owner, but I told them no one’s here. When I asked who they were and what company they worked for, they said Microsoft. A mate of mine mentioned it’s a scam, so I knew to be careful. We don’t have any issues with our laptops anyway, everything’s running perfectly. I quickly ended the call. This isn’t the first time either, they called before and my dad picked up, and the caller claimed we’d been downloading illegal stuff, which is total rubbish. They even told him to restart the computer. We reckon it’s definitely a scam and just a waste of time.
