9 yearsDid you ever actually get the cash? Just wondering. J11 yearsI got a letter saying I’d won £900,000! I’m from Nottingham and got curious so decided to search for Mr Michael Bell online. Turns out loads of other people got the same letter. They all have the same number on them too - something like 038/76 serial 084. Imagine how gutted I was! They promised the cheque in three days, which is tomorrow. I’m not holding my breath though, haha.NottinghamMichael Bell11 yearsAbsolute lot of scammers, best steer clear or you’ll lose your money. Don’t get involved with these lot, they’ll only leave you out of pocket.12 yearsEarlier today, I got a letter from someone named Michael Bell, with phone numbers 0207 060 3675 and 0788 091 6231, plus a fax number 0207 681 3424. The letter claimed I’d won £900,000 in the International Fifa World Cup Online Lottery, sent from 11 Hanover Square, London W15 1SD. I stayed calm and rang him up, telling him I’d received the letter and giving him the reference number it showed. He told me I’d need to fax the letter back to him so he could confirm I was the intended winner, at which point he’d send the cheque for the £900,000. Up till now, he hasn’t asked for any payment, but I’m still quite doubtful about the whole thing. I’m planning to send the fax from the library a bit later this morning just to see what happens.Michael BellHanover SquareLondon12 yearsIf you want to claim your winnings from the international Powerball lottery, you need to get in touch with Mr Michael Bell who is the foreign service manager at WESTPAC financial.
