Your membership starts when they get your first payment, but you won’t be joined into a Syndicate until the 14-day cancellation period is over. You’re placed in your first Syndicate after this minimum wait time and you can’t cancel your membership until after three full Syndicate months (so at least three months and 14 days after your first payment). This lottery is a scam, definitely not the genuine Syndicate they say it is!!! I’m warning you.

Some woman with a foreign accent kept rambling about the Euro Millions[###] complete nonsense. All I managed to dig up about this lot, besides their crap website, was loads of folks moaning about getting constant spam calls from these scammers. Just got a call from these lot! Said I’d won a place in a contest for an Apple iPad and £1000, and I was in the final stage lol. Kept going on about how the call was being recorded so it was fine to share my bank info!! Got a call about some Euro Millions win, they said they had info from a website i use all the time, sounded a bit fishy but i played along. Then they started asking for stuff you'd think they’d already know, like my bank info. I told them no way, you should already have that and I’m not giving any over the phone. The woman on the other end, who was really hard to understand and sounded Pakistani, then got proper rude with me. That’s when i told her to jog on, ‘cause there’s no way a legit company like the lottery would speak to customers like that.

Got a call offering ten free euro lottery tickets, said they’d got my info from some survey site. Told him I hadn’t done any surveys online, and then he claimed I’d filled one out on the phone. Once again, the classic "Scam vibes" from this number. I saw loads of reports about this one before and it’s all about some too-good-to-be-true free lottery tickets after joining a competition. But then, to actually get 10 free tickets a month, you have to sign up for their syndicate, which already sounded dodgy. When they asked for my bank info, I immediately said no. That’s when I started asking why something supposedly connected to our official lottery isn’t advertised anywhere, and why, if I had really won, I hadn’t received any post at my house, since they had my address. They kept passing me from one "manager" to another at their call centre, trying to convince me it was a genuine company and the winnings were legit. But when I mentioned I’m a police officer and that I’d be reporting this, the tone changed quickly. They didn’t stop ringing though, and now I’m determined to track down this so-called business. It’s nothing but fraud and false hope, designed to lure people in with dreams of a big win while they empty your bank. Don’t fall for it! I got a call from the same number today (14/01/16). They even rattled off my home and email address before I just ended the call and blocked them right away. The number was 020 7060 5530.

Total lottery scam! Watch out and never share your bank info. It’s definitely not the official lottery, just a big rip-off.

Got loads of calls from them today, but every time I tried ringing back they just cut off, proper annoying calls.

This number has been ringing me nonstop today and I just picked up at 6:58pm. The person on the line said I was picked from 200 folks to win 10 lottery tickets for the draw tomorrow night. They even read out my name, email and home address to me. My other half said it sounded like a scam so I ended the call. They called me right back asking which numbers I wanted to select, so I hung up again. Number blocked.

Got a call from a woman named Nataly claiming to be from the big lottery UK, offering some deal for lottery tickets in a syndicate with a promised win. She asked me to set up a direct debit for £9.25 a month. Foolishly, I gave her my details but I'm heading to my bank first thing to cancel it. The numbers she called from were 02030007642 and 02070605530. The call came in around 7:45 pm.

***BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR INFO*** This number kept ringing me all day, and eventually I picked up at about 7pm. The person said I was one of 200 people picked to get 10 lottery tickets for a draw happening tomorrow night. They even claimed to have my name, email and address, which they rattled off. My partner told me this sounded dodgy, so I ended the call. They rang back straight away and asked which numbers I wanted to pick, so I cut them off again. ****WATCH OUT FOR SCAMMERS**** - number: 0207 0605530

Got a call yesterday and two more today (06/01/16) - haven’t picked up any of them. Also, between those calls, I got another ring from 01509842763 but didn’t answer that either.

Got a call from that number 020 7060 5530 today too, and I was daft enough to hand over my bank details - like my account number, sort code and full name. If anyone knows what sort of trouble I might be in or what to look out for, please shout! Feeling proper clueless about this now.

They kept ringing me up, trying to get my bank info out of me. Honestly, you'd think with the number they use, the authorities could track them down and put them behind bars.

Had calls from this Asian lady loads today, 4th Jan. Managed to chat with her twice but ignored the rest coz she was difficult to get. She talked about lottery tickets but I wasn’t interested, so I just ended the call. Blocked the number now. Really hope the cops check these people out soon. Don’t get caught out by this!

Got two calls within a couple hours. I usually ignore any number I don’t recognise and have now blocked this one on my phone. Thanks for all the helpful reviews and feedback above.

Got a call on my phone today at 2.10pm and then another one at 2.30pm; I ignored both and gonna put the number on my block list (which keeps getting longer every day!).

I came across a dodgy company run by a bloke named Mr Buckley. He runs two scams, the first called Panther Play, supposedly based in Norwich. You’re asked to enter your info through a Facebook link telling you could win stuff like vouchers or iPads, but it’s all rubbish. After signing up, you get texts asking you to reply STOP, but replying costs £4.50 charged through your phone bill! I rang them up to ask what was going on and told them to stop messaging me. Then, the second scam kicks in where your details are passed onto his London office and you’re scammed all over again. Mr Buckley and his company Xinion LTD really need to be stopped for running this con.

So on monday i got a call saying they'd send me 10 free euro lotto entries on friday via msn right away, or so the bloke told me. Still no sign of anything though. When i asked what happens if i actually won, like how would i get the prize, he just kinda shrugged and had no clue. Bit fishy if you ask me.

This evening, I got a call from the number 020 7060 5530, showing as London. They wanted to speak to me but when my husband answered and asked what it was about, they claimed I’d won some contest. My husband told them not to call again and just ended the call. Quite annoying!

Annoying unwanted calls always start with that typical call centre noise before anyone even says a word, followed by a load of rubbish about some lottery or prize. I just end the call straight away, but guess what, they keep ringing anyway. The real issue isn’t just these firms but the ones who sell out our details to them. I have a hunch a local estate agent is behind it, but have no way to prove it.

I got a call like the one described here and I knew pretty quickly it was dodgy, but kept listening just to see what they'd say. The bloke started by telling me my address, postcode, and email, which freaked me out a bit. After a good ten minutes of chat, he went on to ask for my bank details so he could deposit some winnings from a “free lottery” for tonight’s Euro Millions draw. That’s when I hung up and reported it straight away to Action Fraud.

Got three calls from this number today, woke me up while I was having a lay-in coz I do night shifts. They claimed to be from Euro Mulls or something, saying I’d won a prize like an iPad, iPhone or £1,000 cash. I told them I never took part in any contest, but they kept insisting I’d just forgotten. I got proper annoyed (which isn’t like me at all) and hung up, then blocked the caller straight away.

This number has been ringing me non stop, was just getting my little one down for her nap and it ended up waking her! Didn’t even answer, let it ring out instead. Proper annoying.

I got a call from Big Lotto, who told me I’d supposedly entered some contest where I’d win 10 free EuroMillions tickets. Right from the start, I knew it was a scam. They shouldn’t be calling me at all - it’s just an extreme form of cold calling. They claimed I’d qualified for these 10 tickets but I reckon they must have got my number from some random automatic phone dialler, which explains why I got that unexpected call. It seemed like Big Lotto was trying to trick me into joining their lottery syndicate by pretending I’d won something without me actually agreeing to it. Turns out, those “free tickets” aren’t really free - you have to pay for one of their expensive subscriptions to get them, so it’s just a waste of your money and time instead of playing on your own. I don’t trust the whole thing anyway; how can they say I won if I never entered anything? And even if I did win some prize, how would I collect it without owning the ticket? Feels like a classic scam. The number they called from was 020 3000 7659 or 020 3000 7658, both linked to Digital Mail, a telecoms company in London. Although Digital Mail might not be making those scam calls themselves, they’re still getting paid by Big Lotto and helping spread the mess. If you wanna fight back politely, you can call them on 020 7060 2000 - it’s Digital Mail Ltd and Big Lotto UK behind it.

This number just keeps ringing me all day and when I pick up no one is there. I sent a message asking who keeps calling me, but no answer at all. Had about 10 calls from them today. Is there any way to get them to stop?

After 7pm they kept ringing me, but I just left it to ring and didn't pick up again. When I did answer the first time, there was this weird hissing sound so I hung up straight away.

These lot keep ringing me but hang up as soon as I pick up, I tried ringing them back but the line is always busy. They’ve called me like 4 times in 5 minutes, getting really annoying. Since it’s on my mobile, I’ve blocked the number so now they just hit my voicemail instead.
