I've been receiving calls from this number on my mobile, yet they never bother to leave a message. I have no clue who it could be, so I’ve chosen to ignore the calls. It would be appreciated if they would either cease their incessant calling or, at the very least, leave a proper message.

It calls me twice daily yet doesn't bother to leave a message at all.

I received a voicemail on my phone, and it was rather cheeky. A lad with a Geordie twang was taking the mickey out of my answering machine message! Quite amusing, really.

It’s astonishing that with all these complaints about this number being a scam, EE hasn’t taken any action yet. One would think they’d want to address the issue promptly to retain their customers instead of watching them jump ship to other networks!

I’ve been inundated with calls from this number, and after just one attempted chat, I decided to cease answering. They claimed to represent EE, insisting that I was a cherished customer eligible for certain benefits. Honestly, I’m not interested in any of their promotions. All I truly want is for them to desist from calling me - it’s been relentless, nearly ten times in the last three days! If this persists, I'm seriously contemplating vacating EE. They're tarnishing their reputation quite badly!

I'm quite baffled as to how these individuals managed to acquire both my residential and mobile phone numbers. They were fishing for my name, but their approach came off as rather shoddy, so I decided to end the call promptly. While I can easily disregard calls on my mobile if they attempt to reach me again, I'm at a loss with the landline, seeing as I lack caller ID to screen potential nuisances. Surely there must be a way to block this number, right?

I've been receiving calls from this number incessantly, yet every time I check my phone, all it says is "this individual has called but left no voicemail." Oddly enough, my phone doesn't even ring! What's going on?

I'm getting bombarded with a couple of calls daily from this number. I don’t pick up, but it keeps ringing away while I'm busy at work! Is there any way to put a stop to this nuisance?

It's quite irritating, really. I never pick up calls from unfamiliar numbers.

I've been bombarded by this number, ringing me as many as five times a day. Just had another call at 8 in the evening! I picked up once before and a bloke claimed he was calling from EE, asking me to verify my info. I wasn’t having any of it, so I politely declined, and he just cut the line. It’s so annoying!

I received a call from this number earlier. Upon picking up, a woman introduced herself, claiming to represent EE, affiliated with Orange. It was clear she was situated in a call centre from the surrounding chatter. She mentioned having some substantial discounts available for me. However, to continue, she required my full name. I firmly told her that I don't divulge personal information over the phone. She insisted she already had the details accessible and needed me to confirm them. As I repeatedly refused to comply, I took a moment to search the number online. After stumbling across some concerning feedback, I chose to terminate the call.

I’ve been getting calls from these people every single day! Today, I finally picked up the phone. The chap on the other end sounded like he was outdoors and oddly enough, he knew my name right off the bat. He asked how I was doing, and I replied, “I’m well, cheers! But who might you be?” He didn’t reveal his identity immediately and then went on to say he was representing Orange, touting some so-called ‘exclusive deals for the festive period’. I made it crystal clear that I had no interest, and honestly, he didn’t make any effort to change my mind. He came across rather laid-back and unprofessional-definitely not what you’d expect from a call centre. I'm convinced it’s a scam. Stay vigilant, folks!

I've been receiving calls from this number repeatedly, and it's quite peculiar that many others on EE are experiencing the same thing. It makes me wonder if EE is somehow passing our numbers along to third-party companies!

Received a call from someone claiming to be from Orange/EE. They obviously knew my name, yet seemed to lack any other pertinent information apart from my mobile number. They were pushing upgrades and freebies at a rather inappropriate moment and wanted me to verify my address among other things, but it felt like they were fumbling in the dark. I've unfortunately concluded that this is likely a phishing attempt and that these chaps are probably scammers. What’s more, since their calls, I’ve been inundated with dodgy calls from others with a similar area code, likely PPI con artists, which makes me suspect that my details have been passed around. They rang me from a UK landline, but I have a sneaky suspicion they could be using a foreign proxy. Very shifty indeed, this caller from Orange/EE.

I’ve discovered that this particular number is linked with the EE network. Regrettably, I decided to pick up the call, during which they feigned to treat me as a cherished customer. They then proceeded to misrepresent my data usage and exaggerated the potential hike in my monthly charges. Their bid to persuade me to up my plan by an additional £13 was nothing short of outrageous. I've lodged a complaint with Orange's customer support and urge others to take a stand as well. Regrettably, Orange has forfeited my future business, as my confidence in them has been irrevocably shaken.

I've been receiving calls from this number for roughly a week and a half now, but I've chosen not to pick up. After the initial call, I did a bit of digging online and it seems that most folks believe it could be a scam of some sort. Interestingly, I'm an Orange/EE subscriber myself, and these calls began just after I asked about my upgrade eligibility. If these calls were truly from Orange/EE, wouldn't they at least leave a voicemail? It all feels rather dodgy, to be honest.

I’ve been getting these pesky calls for the past week or so. The other day, I picked up, and they were asking for someone named Stephanie. I wasn’t her, but I went along with it, only for them to babble on anyway. I eventually just ended the call, it was all rather tiresome. These numbers are an absolute nuisance! I've just received a rather odd silent call from this number. A swift search online led me to block it straight away to avoid any future hassle. Honestly, I'm not at all pleased with Orange; once my contract ends, I’m definitely switching. Likely to Three, as I had a nice, trouble-free experience with them for a couple of years. I received a call from someone claiming to be with EE, who insisted I was a highly valued customer. They mentioned a special deal on an iPad, which sounded tempting. I can totally relate to what you've described. The person's grip on the English language was shaky, and I could hear the hustle and bustle of traffic in the background - unmistakably an international call despite the London number flashing on my screen. They claimed to represent EE/Orange and alarmingly, had some intimate knowledge of my plan, including the amount I was billed last month. Oddly enough, when I checked on the EE website, it mentioned they were an approved agent, yet when I reached out to EE directly, they acted as if they had never heard of them. It’s utterly appalling that EE appears to be handing over my personal information to outside parties. I’m seriously considering switching providers as soon as the opportunity arises!

I received a rather peculiar call today; it was a chap on the line wishing me a happy Valentine's Day, claiming to be from EE. When I inquired about his name, he merely reiterated that he was affiliated with EE. Before I could hear any more, I noticed the sounds of a bus and car horns in the background - clearly, he was outside. His tone was anything but professional, which set off alarm bells for me. It felt suspiciously like a prank call. How on earth do these people obtain our numbers? Just a word of caution - steer clear of this call!

I’ve been getting calls from South Africa, and the sound quality is absolutely dreadful. According to Orange’s official site, this number is supposedly one they’re allowed to ring customers from. They seem to be trying to upsell you onto a pricier Orange/EE contract by insisting you're a valued client, all based on whether you've been prompt with your payments over the last year. They use autodiallers and have no real access to your account, aside from the standard info needed to make a sales pitch. So don’t expect them to know anything about your past communications with Orange/EE, for instance. Be prepared for some high-pressure selling. While it might genuinely suit a few folks, I reckon most will find little to gain from it, and they’re certainly not the best to help you make that decision. Just a heads up to take care!

Crikey! I almost fell for a scam from this chap. He was tempting me with mobile deals that seemed far too generous for a dedicated customer like myself. When I inquired about verifying his affiliation with EE, he claimed he would fetch his manager to authenticate his legitimacy. Quite frankly, that did nothing to reassure me-just hinted that his manager might be up to no good as well. He had a way with words, I’ll tell you that. Take heed, folks; I nearly handed over my personal information!

I received a call purporting to be from EE/Orange, touting a complimentary iPad or tablet. Politely, I declined the offer and expressed my disinterest. The caller then inquired about the make of my current phone, to which I reminded him that if he's indeed representing the company, he ought to already possess those details. Mentioning that I was tied up at the moment, I suggested I'd return the call later, but he abruptly ended the conversation. I received a call from someone claiming to be with EE, who mentioned that I could get a second phone. When I queried why they had reached out to me, considering I already possess a device, they completely sidestepped my question and proceeded to ask for my personal information.
