I've been receiving calls from this number on my mobile, yet they never bother to leave a message. I have no clue who it could be, so I’ve chosen to ignore the calls. It would be appreciated if they would either cease their incessant calling or, at the very least, leave a proper message.

It calls me twice daily yet doesn't bother to leave a message at all.

I got a voicemail from some guy with a Geordie accent, and he was just making fun of my answerphone message. It was a bit cheeky.

I don’t get why EE hasn’t taken action against this number yet, especially when loads of folks are saying it’s a scam. Surely they’d want to sort it out fast before people start switching to other networks.

This number has been ringing me quite a lot recently, but I stopped picking up after the first time. They claimed to be from EE and said I was a valued customer eligible for some perks. Honestly, I’m not interested at all. I just want them to quit calling because it’s been nearly a dozen calls over the past few days! If they don’t chill out soon, I might just switch providers - EE’s really putting a bad impression out there!

I don’t get how they ended up with both my mobile and landline numbers. They tried to get me to verify my name, but it all felt pretty dodgy, so I just cut the call. I can always just not pick up if they call my mobile again, but I can’t do that with the home phone since it doesn’t have caller ID.
There should be some way to block this number for good.

I've gotten calls from this number loads of times but my phone doesn't actually ring. It just shows a notification saying "missed call with no voicemail," which is a bit baffling.

It’s so irritating when you get calls from unknown numbers, best just to ignore them!

This number keeps ringing me up, like, 5 times every day! Just got a call from them at 8 in the evening. I picked up once, some bloke claimed he was from EE and asked me to verify my details. Didn’t fancy that, so I said no... then he just ended the call. Proper annoying!

Got a call from this number and when I picked up, a woman spoke claiming to be with EE, mentioning they work with Orange. She sounded like she was calling from one of those call centres, with other people chatting in the background. She tried to pitch some big discounts but wanted my full name to move forward. I told her I don’t share my info over the phone. She said she already had my details and all I had to do was confirm. I kept refusing, then quickly looked up the number online. Seeing some dodgy reviews, I ended up just hanging up.

These lot have been calling me nonstop every single day. I finally picked up today and it was some bloke who sounded like he was outside somewhere. He called me by my first name and asked how I was doing. I said, "I’m alright thanks... but who is this?" He didn’t say straight away who he was. After a bit, he said he was from Orange and mentioned some 'special offers for the holidays'. I told him flat out I wasn’t interested. He didn’t try hard to persuade me and spoke really casually, nothing like those typical call centre people you'd expect. I’m pretty convinced it’s a scam. Watch out for these calls!

Caller claimed to be from EE or Orange, knew my first name but zero else apart from my mobile number. They tried pushing upgrades and free stuff at a really bad time, asking me to "confirm" my address details even though they didn’t seem to have a clue themselves. Felt like a total info phishing scam. They kept ringing back and shortly after that, loads of other calls came through from similar area codes with annoying PPI scam attempts. Looks like these lot might’ve sold my info on or come from the same source. They use what sounds like a UK landline but could be a proxy from abroad - really dodgy. Caller ID showed orange/ee but I wouldn’t trust it.

I got called by this number, which turns out to be linked to the EE network. I naively picked up, and they started off by claiming I was an important customer. Then they gave me false info about how much data I’d been using, saying my bill would go up a lot because of it. They tried pushing me to upgrade my plan for an extra £13 a month to cover those charges. I ended up contacting Orange’s customer support to complain and seriously, I’d suggest others do the same. I won’t be sticking with Orange anymore; I just don’t trust them now.

About a week and a half back, this number kept ringing me but I never picked up. After the first missed call, I looked it up on Google and it seems loads of people say it’s a scam. I’m with EE (used to be Orange) and these calls began right after I asked them if I could get an upgrade. If it was really EE or Orange calling, you’d think they’d leave a voicemail, right? But nope, nothing. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

I’ve been getting these pesky calls for the past week or so. The other day, I picked up, and they were asking for someone named Stephanie. I wasn’t her, but I went along with it, only for them to babble on anyway. I eventually just ended the call, it was all rather tiresome. These numbers are an absolute nuisance! I have a hunch it’s linked to Orange and EE, as I’ve also been getting a barrage of calls from E-on. Funny thing is, I don’t even have an account with them for my electricity!

Honestly, I'm not very happy with Orange at all, and the moment my contract ends, I'm outta here. This number keeps ringing me but it’s clearly from abroad. They always leave voicemails but they’re completely empty (bit weird, like they don’t even notice!). Don’t waste your time calling back, it’s just some dodgy spam call.

I received a call from someone claiming to be with EE, who insisted I was a highly valued customer. They mentioned a special deal on an iPad, which sounded tempting. However, they then proceeded to inquire about my payment method for my EE bills. It struck me as a bit odd; if they were truly calling from EE, wouldn't they already have that information on file?

I had a very similar call recently. The person spoke in broken English and you could hear traffic noise in the background, so it was obvious they were overseas despite the number appearing as a London one. They claimed to be from Orange/EE and shockingly already knew things about my tariff, like what I paid last month. When I checked the EE website, they were listed as an official partner, but when I rang EE directly, they said they had no idea about them. Feels awful that EE could be handing out my info to outsiders like this - I'm definitely thinking about switching providers asap.

Some bloke rang me, saying he was from EE just to wish me a happy Valentine’s Day. When I asked for his name, he just kept repeating that he worked for EE. Before he could say anything else, I heard traffic noise and a bus nearby. He sounded like he was on the street and definitely didn’t sound professional at all. What kind of prank is this? How on earth do they get hold of your number? Seriously, watch out and don’t pick up if you get this call!

I’ve been getting calls from a number based in South Africa, and the connection is always really rubbish. They say they’re calling from Orange, and apparently their number is legit according to Orange’s own site, so they’re allowed to call you. What they’re pushing is an upgrade to a more expensive Orange or EE contract, telling you that because you’ve been a loyal customer - meaning you’ve paid your bills on time for about a year - you’re eligible. They’re clearly using autodiallers so they don’t have any proper access to your account details beyond what’s needed to try and sell you stuff, so they can’t know if you’ve called Orange or EE before. Be prepared for a pretty pushy sales pitch. While some might find the deal useful, most probably won’t, and these callers aren’t really the ones to trust for good advice. Just be careful.

Wow, that was close! Some bloke rang me with phone offers that sounded way too good to be real, especially for someone who's been with them for years. When I asked how I could check he was actually from EE, he said he'd have his manager verify it for me, which just made me more suspicious - if his manager's involved, they might be just as shady. He was super convincing though. Watch out, I almost ended up sharing my personal info.

Just had a ring from some guy with a funny accent saying he was from EE or Orange. He told me, something like, “Since you’re a loyal customer, you can upgrade your contract.” The line was crackly and he didn’t speak very well, plus I could hear what sounded like kids yelling in the background. Someone called pretending to be from EE or Orange, offering a free iPad or tablet. I told them I wasn’t interested, but then they asked what phone I was using. I told them if they really had my contract details, they’d already know that. They said they were busy and needed to ring me back, then just hung up. I phoned Orange afterwards and they said that number wasn’t recognised by them and it’s been flagged as a scam. They advised me never to give out any personal info.
