As a Talk Talk customer myself, I've even taken the liberty of reporting these pests directly to the company. Recently, they had the audacity to pitch an upgrade from my basic phone service to a bundled broadband package, and amusingly promised a free desktop computer if I made the switch. What a joke! Please, don't misattribute these rogue operators to Talk Talk-it's nothing but a phishing scheme. I realised they were up to no good when, during a previous call under the guise of being from Talk Talk, they asked for my bank information. If they were truly Talk Talk, they’d already have those details on file! I've renewed my contract multiple times and have never, not once, needed to hand over sensitive info like that. If you receive a call from these jokers, do the right thing and report it to the police, OFCOM, or even Talk Talk directly. And a little tip: if someone on the other end has a South African accent while pretending to represent Talk Talk, make sure to flag that number. The genuine Talk Talk representatives I’ve encountered certainly don't speak like that, and every dodgy call I've received has come from someone with that same accent.
