The woman said her name was Carla Wilson and claimed to be from Microsoft’s tech support team. Her voice was quite young, and her accent felt more Eastern European instead of the typical Asian one I often get. Some bloke from Microsoft said there was an error or something and told me to turn my PC on - I just hung up. Microsoft really ought to make it clear they will NEVER ring people out of the blue like that!

I received a phone call claiming to be from Microsoft. When I questioned them and asked for a callback number, their attitude took a turn for the worse. They began to raise their voice, insisting they could demonstrate that I was a registered user of a computer I don't even own!

Some lady rang me and asked for someone with my name, and I daftly said yes. She started rattling on about some tech firm, I didn’t catch the name properly, maybe it was real, maybe not. But then she messed it up by asking “Is the computer yours?” (Who even says that?) It was pretty obvious a dodgy call, so I told her I wasn’t falling for any tricks and told her to jog on. Now she’s blocked.

Some bloke claimed to be from 'Windows!!!' and said there was an issue with my PC sending out alerts. When I asked him some techy questions about my OS, he brushed them off like they didn’t matter. Blocked his number right away.

Someone rang from this number and wanted to talk to my mum. When I asked what it was about, the woman snapped "I’m not telling you, so just be quiet and put me through to your mum!" Yeah, I just ended the call there and then.

He sounded pretty pushy, insisting he was legit and could prove who he was. He asked if I had a laptop or computer, but when I asked why, his answers were all over the place and didn’t really add up. I told him he was talking nonsense and just ended the call.

Got a call from someone called Joseph claiming to be from Microsoft, saying there was some issue with alerts on my PC. He spoke with a really strong Asian accent and kept asking me to trust him, insisted it wasn’t a scam and that he’d help if I just logged into my computer. I cut him off quickly and said, “Why don’t you save us both some time and find a real job instead of scamming folks?” He went completely silent after that! 😂

I received a call from a chap named Norman claiming to be from Microsoft. He had a noticeable Asian or Indian accent and started probing whether I owned a computer or laptop. Naturally, I was a bit sceptical and asked why he needed that info. I didn’t mince words, becoming quite defensive and a tad combative. Things went a bit pear-shaped after that; I struggled to follow his explanations. Eventually, I told him I couldn’t grasp what he was going on about and hung up.

I received a call quite recently from this particular number. I informed the person on the other end that I will personally come to locate them, and I am confident that I will succeed. It appeared to deeply affect them, as they were on the verge of tears! I highly doubt they will make any further calls in the future. Quite a relieving outcome, I must say.

I received a call from an Indian lady who presented herself in a polite manner and said she was from Microsoft. She informed me about a virus that had apparently been detected on my laptop.
