I received a rather suspicious call from this number today, claiming to be Amazon. They informed me that I had made a purchase totalling £1049, which was news to me! The automated voice instructed me to press 1 if the transaction was mine, or 2 if it wasn't. Naturally, I had a bit of a search online regarding the number and found absolutely nothing tying it to Amazon. Furthermore, I have never spent such a large sum on the site. This seems to be a classic scam, especially considering the call was from the United States. Quite the dodgy business, if you ask me!
